Caught part of the Lakers Knicks game tonight. Observations:
- Lakers suck, but Knicks suck even worse. I'm glad I only caught the last two quarters, no way I could have watched two hours of this.
- How long before Starbury gets traded?
- Kwame looks totally lost. If there was ever a poster child for staying in college, Kwame is him. How much better would he be now if he played say, three years in the ACC. Will he turn into Horace Grant or is he destined to be Cherokee Parks?
- Kobe looks skinnier and definitely quicker. Dude is still a ball hog.
- Odom needs the ball more. No second option, no playoffs.

I'm in for ball. My trip to Denver was postponed (glad I'm not paying
ReplyDeletefor the flight). Unfortunately I will miss seeing the Nuggets beat up on
the only team that we have a chance at beating, the legendary New York
Knicks.
We need another TV or I need a wife that enjoys watching basketball.
Therefore I have no comment on the game.

Knicks - Lakers. Crap.....Knicks with 4 rookies and one 2nd year player
on the floor at once. Yah gotta give Brown points for having the
kahones to do that.
Kobe looked good, but as Nigel pointed out 30-40 looks per game and I
score 30 points/game as well.
Vince - Kwame isn't a poster child for staying in university, he's a
poster child for going to university. Kwame's "hands of stone" makes
Boston Celtic's legend Greg Kite look like Jerry Rice with his ability
to hoover in the ball.
Odom - What gives. He looks lost, indifferent or just doesn't care. I
know Warriors great Joe Barry Carol had the knickname Joe Barely Cares,
but that would apply to Odom last night.
Knicks will take a while, but I liked their rookies and Eddie Curry has
got a big upside. Trade Starbury now. I never cared much for cocky
little point guards that overrated their abilities......see Steve
Francis, Greg Anthony, John Starkes, etc, etc, etc.
I am in for tonight as well. I have to make sure Brian doesn't have
another career night like last week. I have got a replacement pair of
$29.95 Shaq's with another pair of $29.95 Shaq's. Watch out!!

When I bought them last year they were $59.95, but when I brought them
ReplyDeleteback over the weekend I found out they had become devalued. I guess
Shaq doesn't carry his worth anymore. All they could do was give me a free pair and I noticed they had dropped in price.
I tried to place an order with Brian and get some black market shoes out of the the US, but I'm scared to associate myself with such cross border law breakers.
