T's Ankle is Getting Better, Lakers are Not

I am just looking forward to the return of Rence. With that ankle fully healed he should be somewhere between a post injury Bernard King and Steve Austin the Six Million Dollar Man. Gentleman we have the technology to rebuild him. Better than he was before ........ Better ......... Stronger ......... Faster.

Teresa Kleindienst is Hot

Carrie Watson invited a bunch of us to go scrimmage with the UBC Women's team. I love War Memorial gym with the sprung floor that gives a minimum 4 inches extra on the vertical. J Wats, John Anderson, and Amanda showed up from our Sunday squad, joined by the twin Teresa's. Six-one Teresa played for Oklahoma Sooners and is working at UBC now. Teresa Kleindeinst just happens to be the starting point guard for the national team, and NAIA MVP in 2000 when she played at SFU. She's only 5'6" but she has awesome handle and wicked court vision.

Don't even think about recruiting her for K-League, she's ours...

We smoked UBC 78-42, mostly on layups in transition. Then again, the Lady T-Birds looked flat, probably the result of post-exam hangover. Erica Guiness, their best player, was nursing a sprained ankle and only played one quarter.

I will definitely organize a game night at UBC, hopefully when SFU comes to Point Grey to play.

Lawrence Moten Found

This is going deep.

I'm glad Moten has work.

T Says Lakers are the Real Deal

Lets acknowledge that the Lakers are 4-1 on their current road trip after coming off their most impressive win of the year - beating Dallas last night. Kobe hits a 29 foot fade away to give him 43 points and the Lakers the win. We also got some good contributions from Kwame Brown (outa nowhere) and Luke Walton. The Lakers have made the turn are playing some very consistent D and starting to form the triangle. Look for a win tonight against Memphis - to cap off their best road trip in 2 years, and a great game versus Riley and the Heat on Xmas day.

Riles is Back

Saw the news on Pat Riley replacing Van Gundy. This was the worst kept secret since the summer. Can Riles really turn this team around and motivate Shaq-Daddy? I heard he is a slave-driver coach, running his teams so hard that guys like James Worthy had their careers cut short by injuries.

Out like Van Gundy sibling,
Vincent

Dwight Howard is a Stud

Was watching the Orlando/Spurs game tonight - and although they lost - Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson have the potential to be the best young (and I mean young cause Howard is not yet 20) inside out duo in the league. Agree or Disagree?
