All About Kobe

Once again, it's Charlie Rosen on Fox with the detailed analysis. The Lakers haven't been on TV at all (what's up with Sonics/Magic last night on SportsNet - who cares?), and I don't have satellite so I haven't seen much of Kobe myself.

Judging from highlights:

Kobe has a sick left-right-left move, the one described by Charlie. It's a simple double crossover but the way Kobe jukes his body weight from one side to another makes it impossible to stop. T, are you running your DVR over and over again to add to your reportoire?

No surprise that his D is MIA. When you score 40+, who has time to hunker down at your own end? Unless your name is Mike and you get it done going both ways.

For a guy that is hated as much as Kobe apparently is - he sure does get alot of attention.

Which other player in the NBA gets a possession by possession analysis of his game?

Bottom line - Kobe is clearly the best one on one basketball player in the NBA - even the Kobe haters cannot argue this point. If the Lakers had someone else step up to the plate and consistently knock down open shots when Kobe passes out of the double team (waiting for you Lamar Odom!) - which (despite the ball hog accusations) he would if someone could hit the shots - the Lakers would be among the top 5 teams in the league.

Sorry - the return to the court has been delayed - the ankle is not ready for prime time quite just yet.

Dr. Nige is going to give me some much needed therapy this week so that I can come back like Grant Hill (oh is he hurt again?).

Have a good run tonight fellas.
